The Superior Reads Podcast Edition
Since 2018, Superior Reads has been a platform where authors and readers connect. In monthly interviews, authors from the US and abroad have been in conversation with producer and host Lin Salisbury about their books, their inspiration, and what's in their to-be-read pile (among many other things!) These interviews have aired on WTIP Radio 90.7 Grand Marais, MN and can be listened to in the archives or on this website. In September 2024, the Superior Reads Podcast Edition launched. Book lovers unite! Listen wherever you get your podcasts, or simply click on the link below.
In the inaugural Superior Reads Podcast Edition, I spoke with authors Kristi Belcamino, Jess Lourey, and Wendy Webb about their new mystery novels, what inspired them, the best writing advice they’ve gotten, and the books they couldn’t live without.
Superior Reads is produced and hosted by Lin Salisbury, a self-proclaimed bibliophile who lives and reads and writes on the North Shore of Lake Superior. Introducing readers to new books and authors is her passion. Superior Reads is a place for readers and writers of all ages to keep up-to-date on the local and national book scene through in-depth interviews with authors. Her guests have included Pulitzer Prize-winning authors, National Book Award finalists, New York Times best-selling authors, and locally, regionally, and internationally-renowned authors. Her author interviews and book reviews air on WTIP Radio, 90.7 Grand Marais, and her podcasts can be found on YouTube, Amazon Music, Apple, and Spotify.
Lin writes creative nonfiction and fiction. She is currently at work on a memoir entitled Crazy for You, and a novel entitled The Violet Hour Book Club. Her work has appeared in Fourth Genre, Snowshoemag.com, and Minnesota Memories. She is the recipient of a Loft Mentor Series fellowship in creative nonfiction, a Lake Superior Writers first place prize in creative nonfiction, and two Minnesota State Arts Board grants.
